HOTEL POLICIES
Cancellation Policy
- • Cancellations made 15 or more days prior to Check-in date will receive a full refund.
- • Cancellations within 7–15 days prior to Check-in date a refund of 50% of the total booking amount.
- • Cancellations within 7 days prior to Check-in date no refund will be allowed.
- • All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email or through the booking platform.
- • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.
Check-In / Check-Out Policy
- • Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out is 12:00 Noon.
- • Early check-in (before 2:00 PM) is subject to availability and may incur an additional half-day charge.
- • Late check-out (after 12:00 Noon) is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
- • Guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID and the booking confirmation at check-in.
- • All guests are required to complete the hotel's registration form upon arrival.
- • Key cards, Keys / room access must be returned at check-out.
Payment Policy
- • We accept major credit/debit cards, UPI, and bank transfers.
- • Full payment is required at check-out.
- • A security deposit may be required for certain room types and will be refunded upon check-out after inspection.
- • All prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- • Invoices will be provided upon request; GST details must be shared at check-in for tax invoices.
Children & Extra Bed Policy
- • Children below 6 years stay free when using existing bedding with their parents.
- • Guests above 6 years are considered adults and charged accordingly.
- • Extra beds are subject to availability and incur additional charges.
Pet Policy
- • Pets are not permitted within the hotel premises, including rooms and public areas.
- • Service animals are permitted in accordance with applicable laws; please inform us at the time of booking.
- • Violation of this policy may result in additional cleaning charges or early termination of stay.
Smoking Policy
- • Hotel Nehrus Kashmir is a non-smoking property.
- • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas including rooms, corridors, and dining areas.
- • Designated outdoor smoking areas are available upon request.
- • Violation of this policy will result in a mandatory deep-cleaning surcharge of Rs. 5,000 or more.
Noise & Conduct Policy
- • Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- • Guests are expected to maintain decorum and respect fellow guests and hotel staff at all times.
- • Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, or any form of harassment will result in immediate termination of stay without refund.
- • Unauthorized parties or gatherings in guest rooms are strictly prohibited.
Damage & Liability Policy
- • Guests are responsible for any damage caused to hotel property during their stay.
- • Charges for damages will be assessed at the time of check-out or billed to the provided payment method.
- • The hotel is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings. Guests are advised to use the in-room safe or front desk lockers for valuables.
- • The hotel reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for any damages discovered after check-out.
Privacy Policy
- • Personal information collected during booking or stay is used solely for providing hotel services.
- • Guest data is not shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law or for service fulfillment.
- • Credit card and payment information is processed securely and is not stored on hotel systems.
- • Guests may request access to or deletion of their personal data by contacting the hotel directly.
- • CCTV surveillance is in operation throughout public areas of the hotel for the safety and security of all guests.
Force Majeure & Special Circumstances
- • In the event of natural disasters, government-mandated closures, civil unrest, or other force majeure situations, the hotel will work with guests to reschedule or provide credit notes.
- • Refunds in force majeure situations are at the hotel's discretion and subject to management review.
- • Guests are advised to purchase travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
